Shop Helper

Currently seeking a Shop Hand to join our client's Hobby Airport location

Under the direction of the Shop Supervisor, the Shop Helper will assist in various shop departments including packaging, painting, grinding, testing, receiving and general shop task as assigned by the shop supervisor, upkeep of the shop including daily and monthly shop maintenance of shop materials and equipment. 

Responsibilities of the Shop Hand include, but are not limited to: 

·       Will assist welder, electrician, assembly 

·       Cut material

·       Upkeep of the shop 

·       General shop duties 

Preferred experience: 

·       Previous experience working in a heavy fabrication shop environment 

·       Forklift operating experience

·       Overhead crane experience
