Role Description The Production Manager is a full-time, role based in Tomball, TX, This role oversees day-to-day electrical activities for power distribution, switchgear, motor control, and related systems, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations. Responsibilities include supervising electrical technicians, planning and assigning work, monitoring progress, and providing technical guidance on installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment. The Production Manager reviews drawings and specifications, coordinates with engineering and project management teams, supports equipment integration and commissioning, and ensures adherence to safety standards and company procedures. The role also involves maintaining documentation, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and contributing to reliable delivery of power solutions for oilfield, marine, industrial, data center, and renewable energy projects.

Qualifications

  • Strong Supervisory Skills with experience leading electrical teams, coordinating workloads, and supporting performance and safety.
  • Hands-on Electrical Maintenance expertise, including installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical equipment and systems.
  • Solid understanding of Electricity fundamentals and power distribution principles, including high, medium, and low voltage applications.
  • Background in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline, with the ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Experience working with Electrical Equipment such as switchgear, transformers, motor control centers, VFDs, and generator systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety practices (e.g., NEC, NFPA, OSHA), and commitment to safe work practices.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and project teams.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, industrial technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Prior experience in oilfield, marine, industrial, data center, or renewable energy environments is beneficial.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of work experience with Electrical panel wiring, low & medium voltage switchgear
  • Managing 50+ shop personnel
  • Experience workflow, work station layouts, production schedules, equipment maintenance, etc.
